“Begin Again” is returning for a fourth season!
“Begin Again” is a variety show where Korea’s top musicians busk in a foreign country. In seasons one to three, singers traveled to various cities in the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Italy.
On May 7, JTBC announced details about the upcoming season of “Begin Again Korea,” where the musicians will go on a busking trip around Korea and comfort Korean citizens suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Familiar faces will return for this new season. Lee So Ra will fill the screens and streets with her emotional singing, Henry will showcase his musical talents and energy, and AKMU’s Lee Soo Hyun will bring smiles to onlookers with her vibrant energy and refreshing voice. “Family band” members Ha Rim and Juk Jae will also join the cast once again.
New faces include Crush and Jung Seung Hwan. One More Chance member Jung Ji Chan will appear as this season’s band master.
Producing director Song Kwang Joong said, “This season, we plan to visit various places in Korea in need of support to gift music and healing. Since it’s a period of time where safety is of the utmost importance, we’re cooperating with the Ministry of Health and Welfare and local governments to be fully prepared so that the citizens, musicians, and staff can enjoy music in a safe environment. We hope that many people can experience healing even for a moment through ‘Begin Again.'”
“Begin Again Korea” airs in June.
