Watch: Big Hit Entertainment And CJ ENM's BELIFT Drops 1st Intriguing Teaser For "I-LAND"
“I-LAND,” the joint project between CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment, has finally been unveiled.
This is set to be the first project of CJ ENM and Big Hit Entertainment’s joint venture BELIF+, officially titled BELIFT LAB Incorporations. It was created to find and train global K-pop artists, and became a hot topic as it brought together two entities that have great influence in the music industry.
“I-LAND” will be an observation reality show that follows the process of a new generation of K-pop artists being born, and will premiere in June. The program will combine CJ ENM’s content production capabilities and Big Hit Entertainment’s artist producing know-how, showing the process of participants competing against and working with each other.
The project is set in its own universe, and Mnet is said to have created a 3000 pyeong (approximately 106,750 square feet) complex for the show.
