"The World Of The Married" Remains No. 1 As "The King: Eternal Monarch" Falls To Its Lowest Ratings Yet

JTBC’s “The World of the Married” continues to dominate its time slot!

According to Nielsen Korea, the May 8 episode of the wildly popular drama scored an average viewership rating of 21.1 percent nationwide.

Although it was unable to beat its own personal ratings record of 24.3 percent from its previous episode—which made history by overtaking “SKY Castle” to achieve the highest viewership ratings of any drama in Korean cable network history—”The World of the Married” still took first place in its time slot across all channels.

Meanwhile, SBS’s “The King: Eternal Monarch” scored average nationwide ratings of 7.0 percent and 8.1 percent for its two parts, marking its lowest viewership ratings to date.

Finally, Channel A’s “Eccentric! Chef Moon” scored average ratings of 0.62 percent and 0.77 percent for the evening.
