Park Sung Woong Holds The Key To Choi Jin Hyuk's Search For The Truth In "Rugal"

OCN’s “Rugal” recently released stills of Choi Jin Hyuk and his team in a confrontation with Park Sung Woong.

“Rugal” is a sci-fi action thriller about the conflict between special organization Rugal, which turns humans into weapons using biotechnology, and Argos, a terrorist organization.

The stills released on May 9 show Kang Ki Bum (Choi Jin Hyuk) in confrontation with the police. Hwang Deuk Goo (Park Sung Woong), who is sitting in his car when Kang Ki Bum approaches, is completely relaxed. The tension lies with Kang Ki Bum’s team, who are standing by and ready to back him up: Han Tae Woong (Jo Dong Hyuk), Song Mi Na (Jung Hye In), and Lee Gwang Chul (Park Sun Ho).

The secret organization Rugal, in response to attacks from Hwang Deuk Goo, revealed themselves to the public and cleared away Argos for good. They won the affection of the public for getting rid of the social evil that was Argos, and Hwang Deuk Goo had to think carefully about his next move. After a few days, he went to the police station and gave himself up, confessing to several crimes. He was locked up, but asked for Kang Ki Bum to visit him. When Kang Ki Bum arrived, Hwang Deuk Goo gave him the shock of his life by telling him that his wife, whom he had believed dead, was still alive.

The new stills show Kang Ki Bum and his team launching a new operation, not to pursue revenge this time but to rescue his wife, who is being held hostage. Kang Ki Bum has a tense stand-off with Detective Yang (Lee Sang Bo), but when he finds Hwang Deuk Goo again, Hwang Deuk Goo is completely at ease and anticipating his arrival.

The production staff stated, “With the plot twist regarding Kim Yeo Jin [Kang Ki Bum’s wife], Kang Ki Bum and Hwang Deuk Goo’s face-off will move in unexpected directions. Please look forward to Kang Ki Bum, who has been both chased and chaser, finally discovering the truth.”
