May Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for girl groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various girl groups, using big data collected from April 10 to May 10.
Oh My Girl topped this month’s list after seeing an impressive 99.68 percent increase in their brand reputation index since April. The group scored a total index of 4,769,650 for May.
High-ranking phrases in Oh My Girl’s keyword analysis included “Nonstop,” “YouTube,” and “comeback,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “cool,” “do well,” and “shine.” The girl group’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 85.59 percent positive reactions.
Apink came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 4,723,734 for May, marking a 24.82 percent rise in their score since last month.
BLACKPINK took third place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 4,197,845, while Red Velvet and TWICE rounded out the top five at fourth and fifth places respectively.
