DAY6 Achieves Personal Record On Realtime Charts With "Zombie" + Expresses Gratitude To Fans
DAY6’s newest album has achieved impressive chart results!
Although DAY6 is temporarily halting group activities in order for some of the members to recover their health, the band still released their mini album “The Book of Us : The Demon” on May 11 at 6 p.m. KST. The title track “Zombie” debuted at No. 8 on Melon’s realtime chart at 7 p.m. KST and rose as high as No. 4 at 1 a.m. KST on May 12.
“Zombie” also rose to No. 1 on Bugs at 8 p.m. KST and on Genie at 1 a.m. KST on May 12, and it is still maintaining the top spot as of 11 a.m. KST.
In addition, all seven B-side tracks from the album have been charting in the top 100 on Melon, Bugs, and Genie since the album’s release.
In response to the results, a personal record for DAY6, members of the band took to their Instagram Stories to express gratitude for their fans My Day.
Young K posted several times throughout the night with screenshots of charts. He first wrote, “Thank you,” after the 7 p.m. charts and, “Is this real life…,” after the 8 p.m. charts. Following the 1 a.m. charts, Young K wrote, “Thanks to you, today is a very happy night.. I hope you all have a good night..”
Wonpil posted a group photo of the DAY6 with fans and the caption, “So emotional. Because we are DAY6 and My Day, we can overcome, right~?”
Jae posted the following on the morning of May 12:
