IU Makes Another Meaningful Donation To Help Those Affected By COVID-19
IU has made another meaningful donation to help those in need!
On May 14, the city of Gwacheon in Gyeonggi Province revealed that IU had donated 10 million won (approximately $8,150) on May 6 to help low-income families who are struggling due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This is not the first time IU has donated to the city to help curb the pandemic, having previously donated 30 million won (approximately $24,450).
This is the third donation IU has made this month. On May 4, it was announced that IU had made a donation to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation to celebrate Children’s Day. On May 6, she honored Family Month by donating 10 million won to Yangpyeong County to help families with children raised by single parents or grandparents.
IU also recently released “eight” with BTS’s Suga and the song has gone on to achieve a perfect all-kill.
