Watch: Song Seung Heon And Seo Ji Hye Go From Hate To Love In Teaser For Upcoming Drama "Dinner Mate"

Upcoming MBC drama “Dinner Mate” has shared a glimpse of the love-hate relationship between Song Seung Heon and Seo Ji Hye in a new teaser!

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Dinner Mate” tells the love story of a man and a woman who have grown jaded about romance after experiencing painful heartbreak. Through eating dinner together, they eventually recover their ability to feel emotion and begin to find love over food.

Song Seung Heon will play Kim Hae Kyung, an intelligent psychiatrist and food psychologist who analyzes people by watching them eat. Seo Ji Hye will take on the role of web channel 2N BOX’s PD (producing director) Woo Do Hee, a whimsical and bright character who is popular among her peers.

In the teaser, Nam Ah Young (Ye Ji Won) tells Woo Do Hee she wants psychiatrist Kim Hae Kyung on their show, and Woo Do Hee promises she’ll get him to do that. Little does she know that they’re going to start off as enemies. Woo Do Hee and Kim Hae Kyung engage in a verbal battle, and she demands he come face-to-face with her. They race towards each other with unrestrained fury, and he angrily says, “I can’t tolerate this!”

In the clip, Kim Hae Kyung seems to be getting back together with his ex-girlfriend Jin No Eul (Son Naeun), but with Woo Do Hee in the picture, a new love line starts to form. Woo Do Hee claims she doesn’t believe in fate, but Kim Hae Kyung firmly replies, “No. This is fate.”

“Dinner Mate” will premiere on May 25 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
