Watch: Seo Ye Ji And Kim Soo Hyun Are Ready To Portray An Odd Love Story In 1st Teaser For New Drama

tvN’s upcoming drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” has shared a first glimpse of Seo Ye Ji and Kim Soo Hyun as their new characters!

Described as a “healing romance that resembles a storybook fantasy,” “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” will tell the story of a community health worker at a psychiatric ward who doesn’t have time for love and a storybook writer who has never known love. After meeting one another, the two slowly begin to heal each other’s emotional wounds.

Kim Soo Hyun will star as the lonely protagonist Moon Kang Tae who became the breadwinner of his family at an early age after he and his brother lost their parents. Seo Ye Ji will transform into Go Moon Young, a successful children’s book author who suffers from antisocial personality disorder.

The teaser starts off with an eerie melody that sounds like something you would hear from a music box. The caption describes the drama as “a little strange romantic comedy about love.” Someone scribbles out the word “love” and cuts out characters with a sharp craft knife to form the word “psycho.”

Towards the end of the clip, Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji make short but memorable appearances. Seo Ye Ji is standing in the middle of what looks like a greenhouse full of plants, and she gazes blankly at a red book in her hands. Meanwhile, Kim Soo Hyun stares off into the distance in depression, and the soft breeze that blows past him heightens the mysterious aura around him.

“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” is scheduled to premiere on June 20.
