Watch: ONF, Golden Child, ONEUS, VERIVERY, TOO, And The Boyz Stage Intense Performances For "Road To Kingdom" 2nd Round
“Road to Kingdom” continued its second round in the May 21 episode!
On the Mnet survival show, the seven teams currently in the competition have been facing off with a “My Song” mission that has challenged them to tell their own stories with their own tracks.
There was a lot on the line in this round, as the show will be sending home the group with the lowest ranking after their first and second round scores are combined.
PENTAGON kicked off the second round last week with their emotional performance, which was their last time performing with Jinho before he enlisted in the military.
This week’s episode showcased the performances by the six other teams, beginning with ONF, who staged a performance of their 2019 title track “We Must Love.” The performance featured their labelmate Oh My Girl’s YooA, who took part as a dancer.
Golden Child was up next, and they performed their 2019 title track “Wannabe” including a violin performance by Joochan.
ONEUS chose to perform their 2019 title track “LIT” with a concept that brings to mind the film “Jeon Woo-chi: The Taoist Wizard.”
VERIVERY picked their b-side “PHOTO” off their 2020 mini album “Face Me” to perform for the mission, explaining that it is the most meaningful song for them. They received advice from their labelmate Ravi of VIXX for their performance.
Rookie group TOO took to the stage to perform their debut title track “Magnolia.”
Finally, The Boyz ended the round with their performance of their latest title track “REVEAL.”
The ranking for this round will be determined through a combination of votes from the teams (30 percent) and votes from online audience members (70 percent).
