Song Seung Heon, Seo Ji Hye, Lee Ji Hoon, And Son Naeun Share What To Look Forward To In "Dinner Mate"
The cast of the upcoming MBC drama “Dinner Mate” has shared their key points to look out for!
“Dinner Mate” is about the love story between a man and a woman who have both grown jaded about romance after experiencing painful heartbreaks. Through their dinner dates, they recover their ability to feel emotion and begin to find love over food.
Song Seung Heon plays Kim Hae Kyung, a psychiatrist and food psychologist who analyzes people by watching them eat. He said, “The drama is about two people, who have been hurt in their relationships with other people, changing and healing through sharing a meal together. Hae Kyung appears perfect on the surface, but I think his greatest charm is his human, clumsy side. When he’s working, he’s serious and passionate, but sometimes he can’t hide his playful side. He’s very similar to me.”
Seo Ji Hye plays Woo Do Hee, the producing director (PD) of a web channel called 2N BOX. She said, “It’s a story that anyone who has dated before can relate to. I like Do Hee’s personality because she can laugh and joke in any situation. I will show you a complete character through portraying her diverse sides.” She added, “I hope that the drama will bring people laughter and happiness.”
Lee Ji Hoon plays Jung Jae Hyuk, Woo Do Hee’s first love and a freelance medical journalist. He said, “A key point to look out for is the unexpected reunion of past lovers. I think that Jae Hyuk’s capacity for love is his greatest charm. He heads confidently toward his first love, Do Hee.”
Son Naeun plays Jin No Eul, a social media star and fitness trainer and Kim Hae Kyung’s ex-girlfriend. She said, “Please focus on each character’s unique charms. Jin No Eul is someone who hides her human, honest self behind a flashy exterior. She does whatever she wants, but she has a lovable charm that makes her hard to hate.”
“Dinner Mate” premieres on May 25 at 9:30 p.m. KST. Check out a teaser here!
