Jay Park Donates $10,000 To Black Lives Matter Movement + Speaks Out After George Floyd's Death
Jay Park has donated $10,000 to the Black Lives Matter movement and used his platform to call for change.
On May 28, the rapper, singer, and founder of AOMG posted on Twitter to share that he’d donated $10,000 to the Black Lives Matter Global Network. He added, “Pray to God the truth prevails.”

Black Lives Matter is an activist movement that campaigns for an end to violence and systemic racism towards the black community, including police brutality and killings of black people. Earlier this week, outrage was sparked once again by the death of George Floyd, an unarmed black man, after he was pinned to the ground by a white police officer in Minneapolis. Protests have spread nationwide and many people are donating to help the movement.
