Watch: Big Hit Entertainment Announces 2020 Global Auditions

Big Hit Entertainment has kicked off the first phase of its 2020 global auditions!

On June 1, Big Hit Entertainment released several videos officially announcing that it had begun accepting online applications for a new round of global auditions. The agency is currently looking for males born in 2003 or later who are specifically interested in becoming idols.

Although the newly released announcement video specifically names the United States, Canada, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, Australia, and New Zealand, the Korean version of the video states that any males who meet the age requirement are eligible to apply.

Big Hit Entertainment will be accepting online applications (the first stage of the audition process) until July 10 for applicants outside the United States. For U.S. applicants, the deadline is July 31. After two rounds of evaluations, the final announcements will be made by October 9.
