Lee Seung Gi Confirmed To Star In Upcoming Drama About Psychopaths
Lee Seung Gi is confirmed to star in the upcoming tvN drama “Mouse” (literal title)!
In the drama “Mouse,” humans can identify psychopaths through a DNA test of the fetus from the mother’s womb. The drama centers around the question of, “Would you give birth to the child knowing they were a psychopath?”
Lee Seung Gi will be taking on the role of the rookie police officer Jung Ba Reum who is known for being an upright person. His life will completely change after a confrontation with a natural-born psychopath killer who has made the entire nation tremble in fear. Viewers are excited to see Lee Seung Gi take part in a new genre following his role in the action drama “Vagabond.”
Beginning his acting career with “Famous Chil Princesses,” Lee Seung Gi starred in the popular dramas “Shining Inheritance,” “The King 2 Hearts,” “Kangchi, the Beginning,” “Hwayugi,” and more. In particular, through his role in “Vagabond,” Lee Seung Gi received praise for carrying out difficult action scenes while portraying diverse emotions. Viewers are already highly anticipating his new character in the upcoming drama.
The production team shared, “‘Mouse’ will have a completely different and unique topic compared to previous dramas about psychopaths. Please show lots of interest for what kind of acting Lee Seung Gi, who has showcased his charisma in various fields, will portray as Jung Ba Reum.”
Currently, Choi Jin Hyuk is also in talks for the drama. “Mouse” will premiere in the first-half of 2021.
