BTS's "Boy With Luv" Becomes Their Fastest MV To Reach 800 Million Views

BTS’s “Boy With Luv” has set another record for the group!

On June 4, around 5:30 a.m. KST, the music video for “Boy With Luv” surpassed 800 million views on YouTube. This is BTS’s second MV to reach this milestone, after “DNA” set the record as the first Korean boy group MV to accomplish the feat last year.

BTS’s “DNA” accomplished the feat in one year, eight months, and 21 days. Released on April 12, 2019, “Boy With Luv” took one year, one month, and 22 days to achieve the same milestone. This means that “Boy With Luv” is now BTS’s fastest – and the fastest Korean boy group MV overall – to reach 800 million views.

“DNA” has since gone on to become the first Korean boy group MV to reach 1 billion views, joining other Korean MVs such as PSY’s “Gangnam Style” and “Gentleman” and BLACKPINK’s “DDU-DU DDU-DU.”
