Rain Expresses Shock After Remix Of His Track "Gang" Hits No. 1 On Realtime Charts

Rain got a big surprise over the chart success of a remix of his viral song “Gang”!

On June 4, H1GHR MUSIC artists Jay Park, HAON, pH-1, and Sik-K dropped an official remix of Rain’s track “Gang,” a song that he released in December 2017. “Gang” has recently become a popular meme and the subject of many parodies, and Rain has talked about how he’s embraced its newfound viral status and is enjoying it.

The new remix by the H1GHR MUSIC crew came out at 6 p.m. KST, and by 11 p.m. it had hit No. 1 on the realtime charts of Melon, Genie, and Bugs.

Rain shared a screenshot of the remix at No. 1 on the charts and wrote, “This is… What? Why is this happening… This is weird though…”

“I was so shocked,” he continued. “This shouldn’t happen… We made it for fun…”
