WJSN’s Dayoung is making her acting debut through the drama adaptation of popular webtoon “Love Revolution“!
On June 9, a source from King Kong by Starship shared, “Dayoung is appearing in ‘Love Revolution’ as Oh Ah Ram, the best friend of Wang Ja Rim (Lee Ruby).”
The character Oh Ah Ram is a popular girl who is athletic and easy-going. According to the report, Dayoung’s personality is similar to Oh Ah Ram’s, raising expectations for how in-sync Dayoung will be with her character. “Love Revolution” will be Dayoung’s first project as an actress.

The main cast has been confirmed for the drama adaptation of the hit webtoon “Love Revolution”!
In addition to Park Ji Hoon, it has been confirmed that Lee Ruby and The Boyz’s Younghoon will be starring in the drama.
Rookie actress Lee Ruby will be playing Wang Ja Rim, the girl who Gong Joo Young (Park Ji Hoon) falls for at first sight. The Boyz member Younghoon will play Gong Joo Young’s best friend Lee Kang Woo, a popular guy who can be cold but also playful.
Born in 2000, Lee Ruby previously impressed with her role in “Memorist,” and this will be her first leading role. “Love Revolution” will also mark Younghoon’s acting debut.

It’s official: Park Ji Hoon will soon be starring in an adaptation of the popular webtoon “Love Revolution”!
On June 5, Kakao M announced, “Park Ji Hoon has been confirmed for the role of the sweet, pure-hearted Gong Joo Young in the digital original drama ‘Love Revolution.'”
Based on the hit webtoon of the same name, “Love Revolution” is described as a “unique romance” about teenagers navigating love, friendship, and the chaos of high school. The story will focus mainly on Gong Joo Young, a cute and lovable student who falls in love at first sight with the standoffish and popular Wang Ja Rim.
Unwavering in his love for Wang Ja Rim, the confident and cheerful Gong Joo Young isn’t shy about his feelings and is determined to win her heart no matter what. However, despite his gentle, sweet nature when it comes to love, Gong Joo Young is also a steadfast, loyal friend who shows off a tougher and more mature side when his friends need his help.
A spokesperson for Kakao M commented, “We plan to fill ‘Love Revolution’ with the stories of teenagers’ dreams, love, and friendship, told from their perspective and in a way that fits modern-day sensibilities. We ask that you keep an eye on the transformation of Park Ji Hoon, who has shown off a wide variety of charms through his many activities, and what kind of new charms he will display in his role as Gong Joo Young. Please show him a lot of love and interest.”
“Love Revolution” is scheduled to begin filming in June and will premiere sometime in the second half of this year.
