She has also shared a video of herself taking part in a protest. Amber Liu has received a mix of support and backlash, in light of matters including a controversy over remarks she made last November.

On June 5, Amber Liu posted on Twitter to respond to comments being made about her. She also denied a rumor that she is pregnant, which appears to have been started through a falsified image presented as though it was an article from Soompi (No such article was published on this website).
