June Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from May 5 to June 6.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) held onto its spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 9,658,138. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Park Na Rae,” “Kian 84,” and “Park Se Ri,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “lonely,” “step down,” and “reveal.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 62.88 percent positive reactions.
JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 9,442,520 for June, marking a 11.64 percent increase in its score since May.
Finally, SBS’s “My Ugly Duckling” rose to third place in the rankings after seeing a 33.69 percent rise in its score since last month. The variety show scored a total brand reputation index of 8,104,372 for June.
