Song Joong Ki And Kim Tae Ri's Film "Space Sweepers" Delays Release Due To COVID-19
Upcoming film “Space Sweepers” will be postponing their release due to ongoing concerns of COVID-19.
On June 12, a representative of the film “Space Sweepers” shared, “Although ‘Space Sweepers’ was scheduled to premiere in summer, we will be postponing the release due to the effects of COVID-19. We are preparing with the goal of a Chuseok (Korean equivalent of Thanksgiving) premiere.” The Chuseok holiday this year is from September 30 through October 2.
“Space Sweepers” is set in the year 2092 and follows the crew of a space junk collector ship called The Victory. When they discover a humanoid robot named Dorothy that’s known to be a weapon of mass destruction, they get involved in a risky business deal.
The upcoming film is helmed by director Jo Sung Hee, who directed “A Werewolf Boy” and “Phantom Detective.” Its star-studded cast includes Song Joong Ki, Kim Tae Ri, Jin Seon Kyu, Yoo Hae Jin, and more.
