Watch: Red Velvet's Yeri and TWICE's Nayeon Delve Into Their Friendship And TWICE's Comeback On "Yeri's Room"

Red Velvet’s Yeri and TWICE’s Nayeon showed their special chemistry on the YouTube reality show “Yeri’s Room”!

Previously, the two idols hinted that Nayeon would be the first guest on Yeri’s show, and on June 15, the video of Nayeon’s appearance was released.

First off, Yeri introduced Nayeon as a friend she was drawn to from the first time they met. Nayeon appeared with a special gift for Yeri, and Yeri expressed her gratitude with a cheerful smile. Yeri revealed that it had been a while since they saw each other with makeup on and confessed, “To be honest, I was really shocked earlier [when I saw you],” and Nayeon burst into laughter at her honesty.

Yeri promised to promote TWICE’s new song “MORE & MORE” during the episode and Nayeon joked, “Is a Red Velvet member promoting TWICE’s new song?” Yeri confirmed heartily, and Nayeon commented she liked that idea and thought it was very cool.

During the Q and A segment, Yeri asked Nayeon if she did anything to prepare for this comeback. Nayeon shared, “I ate healthy meals! And I woke up a bit earlier to stay awake more during the daytime. I did that to be healthy.”

When asked about her first impression of Yeri, Nayeon explained, “There’s this one day we got really close. I met Yeri in the evening, and we hung out together. I had to go back to my dorm, and I felt really sad. I think our curfew was 10 p.m. So we kept talking until 10 p.m. in front of my dorm. We talked for a long time, and we even shared our secrets.”

Nayeon also talked about times when Yeri cheered her up. She shared, “When I’m personally facing a problem and feeling down, Yeri is the type to kind of throw words at me. It’s like she gives me answers. She’ll say something like, ‘That’s not right.'”

Then Yeri added, “Whenever I give the impression that I’m having a hard time, Nayeon always sends me a text. She’s really sweet. We fool around like this, but when I’m exhausted, she sends me a message, saying, ‘I love you.'” Nayeon was quick to deny it as she laughed in embarrassment, but Yeri clarified that she was touched when Nayeon sent her “ILY,” and Nayeon agreed to that.

Yeri asked Nayeon about her hobby lately, and Nayeon said, “Finding delicious restaurants. If I’m eating a meal, it has to be perfect.”

Then, the two idols exchanged their favorite hidden gems from each other’s albums. Yeri shared that she really likes to listen to TWICE’s “Strawberry” and “Precious Love.” Nayeon commented that she likes Red Velvet’s “Sunny Side Up,” “Kingdom Come,” and “Candy.”
