Apink's Jung Eun Ji Meets Ji Chang Wook In Special Cameo Appearance On "Backstreet Rookie"

Apink’s Jung Eun Ji will be making the first cameo appearance of SBS’s upcoming Friday-Saturday drama “Backstreet Rookie”!

“Backstreet Rookie” will be a romantic comedy set in a 24-hour convenience store between owner Choi Dae Hyun (Ji Chang Wook) and part-time worker Jung Saet Byul (Kim Yoo Jung).

It has now been revealed that Jung Eun Ji will be making a special appearance in the first episode that will air on June 19 as someone who will embarrass Choi Dae Hyun in a big way. The new stills show Jung Eun Ji and Ji Chang Wook sitting across from each other in a café, with Ji Chang Wook’s jacket suspiciously splattered with a black substance. Ji Chang Wook mirrors Jung Eun Ji’s actions as they talk about something.

This will be Jung Eun Ji’s first appearance in a drama since she appeared in the 2018 JTBC drama “Untouchable,” and she is set to leave a lasting impression with her short but sweet cameo. The first episode of “Backstreet Rookie” with Jung Eun Ji will premiere on June 19 at 10 p.m. KST.
