Stray Kids Sets New Personal Record As New Album Tops iTunes Charts Around The World
Stray Kids’ new album “GO生” (“GO LIVE”) continues to set new personal records for the group!
Earlier this week, JYP Entertainment announced that “GO生” had set a new personal record for stock pre-orders for Stray Kids.
On June 17 at 6 p.m. KST, Stray Kids officially dropped “GO生,” which is Stray Kids’ first studio album, and the music video for the title track, “God’s Menu.” A day earlier, the album had charted high on Hanteo’s realtime album chart, suggesting the potential for a new first-week sales record for the group.
As of June 17 at 9 p.m. KST, “GO生” had topped 23 iTunes charts around the world, a new personal best for Stray Kids. This includes Australia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Egypt, Finland, France, Indonesia, Italy, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, the Philippines, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United States.
Their new title track, “God’s Menu,” also topped the Soribada realtime chart, marking the first time since their debut that the group hit No. 1 on a domestic music chart.
