Watch: MONSTA X Shows Support For Black Lives Matter Movement + Performs On TIME Magazine's TIME100 Talks
On June 17 (local time), MONSTA X made a special appearance at TIME magazine’s TIME100 Talks event.
TIME100 Talks is a live event series created by TIME magazine to convene leaders from every field in order to spotlight solutions to urgent global problems and encourage cross-disciplinary action.
During the event, MONSTA X addressed the Black Lives Matter Movement. I.M made a reference to the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals as he commented, “As UN ambassadors for sustainable Goal 16 (peace, justice, and strong institutions), we stand for peace and justice. As such we have supported Black Lives Matter activism, and we believe that it’s time to acknowledge the issue and fix it.”
Kihyun also thanked the medical workers for their hard work during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and Joohoney and Shownu shared their appreciation and love for Monbebes (MONSTA X’s fandom) all over the world.
In addition, MONSTA X performed “Someone’s Someone” and “FLOW.” Watch the performances below!
