At approximately 10 a.m. KST on June 20, the music video for BLACKPINK’s “Whistle” surpassed 500 million views on YouTube. The MV was released on August 8, 2016, meaning they were able to achieve the impressive feat in approximately three years and ten months.

“Whistle” is BLACKPINK’s sixth music video to reach 500 million views following “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “BOOMBAYAH,” “Kill This Love,” and “Playing with Fire.”
