VICTON's Byungchan And Yeonwoo In Talks For New Drama Along With NU'EST's Minhyun And Jung Da Bin
VICTON’s Byungchan and Yeonwoo may be starring in a new drama alongside NU’EST’s Minhyun and Jung Da Bin!
Minhyun and Jung Da Bin were previously revealed to be reviewing offers for lead roles in a new short-form drama produced by Keyeast and Playlist Studio, and on June 22, Hankook Ilbo reported that Byungchan, Yeonwoo, and Noh Jong Hyun would be joining the same drama.
Byungchan’s agency Play M Entertainment shared, “Byungchan has received an offer to star in the project. He is positively looking over it.” Yeonwoo’s agency MLD Entertainment also stated, “Yeonwoo has received an offer to star in the drama and is currently reviewing the offer.”
If Byungchan accepts the offer, this drama will mark his acting debut. Formerly a member of MOMOLAND, Yeonwoo has been building her acting career with several dramas including tvN’s “Pegasus Market,” Channel A’s “Touch,” and SBS’s upcoming drama “Alice.”
Noh Jong Hyun’s agency has yet to release a statement about his appearance in the drama. He made his debut with tvN’s “Because This Is My First Life” and is currently appearing in MBC’s “Kkondae Intern” as one of the interns in Ga Yeol Chan’s (Park Hae Jin’s) team.
The new drama will reportedly be directed by Kim Sang Woo, who co-directed the hit MBC drama “Extraordinary You,” and is slated for broadcast in September.
