On July 15 at 6 p.m. KST, the Apink member released her new mini album “Simple” along with the music video for the title track.
Jung Eun Ji wrote the lyrics for “AWay,” which was composed and arranged by Kim Yeon Seo and minGtion. The summery song expresses hopes to run away somewhere for a bit.

The upcoming mini album will include a total of six songs, all of which feature lyrics penned by Jung Eun Ji. Jung Eun Ji also participated in composing the sixth track, “World That Moves Slowly” (literal translation).

Apink’s Jung Eun Ji is making her return as a solo artist!
On June 23, a source from Jung Eun Ji’s agency Play M Entertainment shared, “Jung Eun Ji will be releasing her solo album in mid-July. We plan on revealing the detailed schedule and what form the album will take after further discussion.”
Promoting as an actress and radio host, Jung Eun Ji’s last solo comeback was in October 2018 with “Being There.” This will be her first comeback with a solo album in one year and nine months and her first new song release in one year and three months since her duet with 10cm in the digital single “Be With Me.”
Jung Eun Ji made her debut as a member of Apink in 2011, and the group has released many hit songs including “FIVE,” “LUV,” “Mr. Chu,” and “NoNoNo.” They continued to receive love after their transformation into powerful concepts with “I’m So Sick” and recently “Dumhdurum.”
As the main vocalist of Apink, Jung Eun Ji released her first solo album “Dream” in 2016, and she swept various online music charts and placed No. 1 on music shows with “Hopefully Sky,” the title track she participated in writing and composing. She continued to showcase her emotional music and talent in composing through her second mini album “Space” and third mini album “Hyehwa.”
Play M Entertainment shared, “Jung Eun Ji, who has continued to grow as an artist and showcase her unique colors, is working hard in preparing to greet her fans for the first time in a long while with a solo album, so please look forward to it.”
Jung Eun Ji will make her return in mid-July.
