IU Thanks "You're The Best, Lee Soon Shin" Co-Star Go Doo Shim For Supporting Upcoming Film
IU expressed her gratitude to Go Doo Shim for her support for IU’s upcoming film “Dream” (working title)!
On June 27, IU took to her personal Instagram account to share photos with the caption, “To Go Doo Shim, whom I love, thank you.”
The photos show IU posing in front of a coffee truck sent by Go Doo Shim to the set of “Dream.” The banners that came with the truck read, “I support everyone in the cast and crew of ‘Dream.’ Please take good care of my daughter Ji Eun [IU’s real name],” and “My Ji Eun, your mom loves you.”
Go Doo Shim and IU appeared in the 2013 KBS 2TV drama “You’re The Best, Lee Soon Shin” together, where Go Doo Shim played IU’s mother. The two also worked on the 2018 tvN drama “My Mister” together as well, though not as a daughter and mother.
IU is currently working on the upcoming film “Dream” with Park Seo Joon and Lee Hyun Woo, which is about a group of inexperienced people trying out for the Homeless World Cup, an annual international soccer event.
