On June 29, AB6IX released their second EP “VIVID” and held a comeback show on Mnet to premiere the performances for their new tracks.

During their comeback show, AB6IX received messages of support from their labelmates and friends. Rhymer, the head of the label, said, “Let’s work hard and not get injured during this album promotion. I am sincerely cheering on AB6IX.” Rapper Kanto said, “The comeback is overflowing with youthfulness. I am looking forward to seeing your refreshing and energetic performances.”

Former X1 member Lee Eun Sang sent in a message that said, “Please look forward to the performance of ‘VIVID.’ Hwaiting.” Zico, who helped produce their song “The Answer,” said, “I sincerely congratulate you on your comeback.”

To introduce their album, Lee Dae Hwi said, “In Roman numerals, VI represents 6. I looked for words that had ‘VI’ in them, and it turned out that vivid colors are one of this year’s trends. We wanted to make an album that reflected the trends. The album name means that we will show our own vividness through our music.”

Park Woo Jin, who helped write the song “Midnight Blue,” said, “I wrote the lyrics in five minutes. After thinking of ‘a night without a single ray of light,’ I just wrote the lyrics that came to me.”

Lee Dae Hwi said that his goal is for AB6IX to be called an idol group with a wide musical spectrum and the means to express it. Jeon Woong said, “I think we can show our natural sides” and Kim Dong Hyun said, “I want to show that we can do any concept.”

AB6IX performed their new tracks “Surreal,” “Midnight Blue,” “Love Air,” “Red Up,” and “The Answer.”
