GOT7's Jinyoung In Talks To Join Jeon So Nee And Kim Da Mi In Remake Of Chinese Film "SoulMate"
We may be seeing GOT7’s Jinyoung in an upcoming film!
On June 30, it was reported that Jinyoung is set to appear in the upcoming Korean remake of the Chinese film “SoulMate.” In response, a source from JYP Entertainment stated, “Jinyoung is currently positively considering an offer to appear in the upcoming film.”
The original film is a story of growth that follows 14 years of friendship, love, respect, and jealousy that two friends go through after first meeting at the age of 13. The movie instantly became a hot topic in China because it was produced by Peter Chan of “Comrades: Almost a Love Story.” For the very first time, the leading actresses also became co-recipients of the Best Actress Award at the Golden Horse Awards, a film festival held in Taiwan.
Last year, Kim Da Mi was confirmed for one of the leading roles after the remake was announced. Earlier this month, the agency of Jinyoung’s “When My Love Blooms” co-star Jeon So Nee confirmed that the actress is positively considering a role in the film as well.
