Watch: Son Ho Jun, Song Jong Ho, And More Turn Into Rivals For Song Ji Hyo's Heart In Highlight Reel For New Rom-Com

JTBC has released a highlight reel ahead of the premiere of “Was It Love?”

The romantic comedy stars Song Ji Hyo as Noh Ae Jung, a movie producer and single mom who has been living on her own for 14 years. Despite having already given up on romance, she suddenly finds herself embarking on an unexpected second chapter of her love life when four very different men enter her story at the same time.

The highlight reel promises the drama will touch on the topics of romance and dreams.

The clip begins with a glimpse of Noh Ae Jung’s life as a single mom who struggles to make ends meet. Noh Ae Jung exclaims, “I don’t have time to be lonely. I’m too busy trying to make a living. That’s all a luxury to me.” However, her life takes a turn for the better, and she is suddenly blessed with the entrance of four possible suitors who are all vying for her attention.

Not only is her love life starting to blossom, but her work life is turning out successfully as well. Goo Pa Do (Kim Min Joon), the CEO of Nine Capital, is willing to make an investment in her movie as long as she is able to cast the popular actor Ryu Jin (Song Jong Ho). Fortunately for her, she actually knows Ryu Jin from her past.

Then her ex-boyfriend Oh Dae Oh (Son Ho Jun) returns after 14 years. He is as arrogant as ever as he asks her how she feels after reuniting with him, and she angrily comments about his lack of manners while brushing her teeth. Last but not least, her young friend Oh Yeon Woo (Koo Ja Sung) from college comes back into her life as her daughter’s teacher.

However, life is still a struggle for Noh Ae Jung who starts to experience complex emotions because of her four suitors. She especially faces a hard time with Oh Dae Oh who claims, “You’re the one who suddenly appeared in my life. You’re the one who suddenly appeared and stirred up my emotions!” Unlike Oh Dae Oh, Ryu Jin is a gentleman who declares he just wants to stay by her side. Oh Yeon Woo also wants to put a smile on Noh Ae Jung’s face, and he asks, “Will the one I want to take responsibility for accept my heart?” Last but not least is Goo Pa Do who will mysteriously catch Noh Ae Jung’s attention.

“Was It Love?” will be the follow-up drama to “Mystic Pop-Up Bar” and will premiere on July 8 at 9:30 p.m. KST.
