2AM's Jo Kwon Thanks Fans After His 2012 Song Featuring BTS's J-Hope Hits No. 1 On International iTunes Charts
2AM’s Jo Kwon’s has expressed his gratitude after his 2012 song “Animal” shot back up the charts!
On July 2, Jo Kwon took to Instagram to respond to the happy news that his 2012 solo track “Animal” featuring BTS’s J-Hope—who was still a Big Hit Entertainment trainee at the time—had risen to the top of iTunes Top Songs charts in Peru and Saudi Arabia.
The singer wrote, “I just heard the news that my song ‘Animal,’ which I sang with J-Hope before he debuted as BTS and released 8 years ago at Big Hit Entertainment, topped the iTunes chart in Peru and Saudi Arabia. Thank you so much! I hope to someday go visit and have a show in Peru and Saudi Arabia.”
In addition to J-Hope featuring on Jo Kwon’s B-side “Animal,” the BTS members also appeared in the 2AM member’s music video for his solo title track “I’m Da One.” See if you can spot them in the music video below!
