July Variety Show Brand Reputation Rankings Announced
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from June 5 to July 5.
TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 11,399,112, marking a 47.14 percent increase in its score since June. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Im Young Woong,” “Kim Ho Joong,” and “Young Tak,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “happy,” “focus,” and “challenge.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 85.93 percent positive reactions.
MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) came in at a close second with a brand reputation index of 11,279,232, marking a 16.78 percent rise in its score since last month.
Finally, MBC’s “How Do You Play?” rose to third place in the rankings after seeing a 45.77 percent increase in its score since June. The variety show scored a total brand reputation index of 9,682,399 for July.
