"It's Okay To Not Be Okay" And "Backstreet Rookie" Both See Rise In Ratings
The battle for weekend drama ratings rages on!
On July 4, the fifth episode of tvN’s “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” enjoyed a modest rise in viewership from its previous episode last week. According to Nielsen Korea, the latest broadcast of the romance drama scored an average nationwide rating of 5.2 percent and a peak of 5.6 percent.
“It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” also remained No. 1 in its time slot across all channels—including public broadcast networks—among the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49, with whom it scored an average rating of 3.9 percent and a peak of 4.2 percent.
Meanwhile, SBS’s “Backstreet Rookie” bounced back from its all-time ratings low, scoring average nationwide ratings of 4.9 percent and 7.9 percent for its two parts.
TV Chosun’s “King Maker: The Change of Destiny” also enjoyed an increase in viewership, scoring an average nationwide rating of 5.5 percent for the night.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Once Again” continued its reign as the most-watched drama of Saturday nights, scoring average nationwide ratings of 23.2 percent and 28.6 percent for its two parts.
