Kang Ji Young Talks About Support She Received From Family And f(x)'s Krystal For "Sweet Munchies"

Kang Ji Young sat down for an interview following the conclusion of her latest project, JTBC’s “Sweet Munchies,” and expressed her gratitude for the support she has received from her family and f(x)’s Krystal.

In May, Kang Ji Young shared photos expressing gratitude to her oldest sister and brother-in-law, soccer player Ji Dong Won, for the coffee truck they sent to the set of “Sweet Munchies.” Kang Ji Young showed love for her family as she said, “I think I’ve grown really close with my brother-in-law. He’s famous too so in some ways, he really understands what I go through. He offers comfort and is so dependable. My oldest sister and I are really close as well, so I think that’s why they take care of me so much.”

Kang Ji Young also expressed gratitude to Krystal, who sent a coffee truck to the drama set in March. Both were born in 1994 and have known each other since they were active in their respective girl groups of KARA and f(x). She said, “It was a total surprise. I didn’t know she’d be sending me a coffee truck, so I was really surprised when it happened.” She continued to add, “We’ve met up a couple of times since I returned to Korea. She’s currently working on her own drama, so we talk about hanging out and grabbing a meal once she’s done.”
