Watch: 'I-LAND' Previews Unit Performances And Announces Start Time For Global Voting In New Teaser

Mnet’s “I-LAND” has released a preview for next week’s episode!

On the July 10 broadcast, six “I-LANDers” were voted out to the “ground” and all the trainees received their second mission to perform BTS‘s “Fire.”

Although it was ruled that the grounder’s performance of “Fire” would be cancelled if no one was eliminated from the I-LAND team, their average total at the end gave the grounders a chance to perform.

The preview begins with the grounder’s performance. Producer Rain exclaims in the voiceover, “I wish everyone from I-LAND and the ground would swap completely.” Before the trainees from the ground picked to go up to the I-LAND are announced, they talk about feeling like a weight has been lifted off their shoulders after finishing their mission. Jay comments, “Whoever moves up today, please don’t cry.” However, he adds, “But to be honest, I think I’ll cry if I don’t move up.”

Later, the trainees are divided up into units as producer Zico comments, “This is unusual for an idol survival program.” Rain adds, “I think it’s time for the tables to turn upside down.”

At the end, storyteller Namgoong Min explains that live cams have been set up to allow fans all over the world to observe and evaluate how the trainees are doing and show their support.

The preview then reveals that on July 24 at 12 a.m. KST, “I-LAND” will begin its global voting process.
