Lovelyz's Jin Fires Back At Malicious Commenter
Lovelyz’s Jin recently did not hesitate to call out a hate comment about her online.
On July 11, Lovelyz’s Jin held a Q&A with her fans on Instagram. In the midst of communicating with her fans and answering their questions, there was a “question” that read, “Are you sure you’re an idol? You just look like an ordinary person.”
Jin took a screenshot of the comment, leaving the username uncensored, and wrote back, “I’m not an idol but a crazy person. Put your ttukbaegi here. Bring a hammer^^.” The word for “crazy person” she used is dol-a-i, which is the reverse of “idol” in Korean. The word “ttukbaegi” means an earthenware clay pot used for cooking, but it is also a slang word for “head.”
Jin first set up her own Instagram account this past June. Lovelyz’s last comeback was in 2019 with the EP “Once Upon a Time” and lead single “When We Were Us (Beautiful Days).” Also in 2019, the girl group competed on the Mnet show “Queendom.”
