Watch: Jung Yu Mi And Choi Woo Shik Move Into Their "Summer Vacation" Home + Welcome Park Seo Joon As 1st Guest
Jung Yu Mi, Choi Woo Shik, and Park Seo Joon showed off their cute friendship on “Summer Vacation”!
On July 17, Na Young Suk PD’s newest variety show “Summer Vacation” made its premiere. The tvN program is a “home vacation” reality show about adults who enjoy an everyday vacation in an unfamiliar place in order to heal their tired minds and bodies. These adults, who can come either alone or with friends, will search for a new “everyday life” far away from busy and chaotic city life.
Ahead of their vacation, “Train to Busan” co-stars Jung Yu Mi and Choi Woo Shik spoke about their close friendship with one another. Jung Yu Mi commented, “Honestly, there’s only the two of us in that house. It could be uncomfortable but it’s not. I think that’s why you’ll be able to see a different side to me. To be honest, that’s why I’m a little worried.”
Regarding Jung Yu Mi, Choi Woo Shik shared, “Sometimes she’s like a younger sibling, sometimes like a friend, and sometimes like an older sister. When I vent my concerns and ask for advice, she listens to me sincerely like an older sister.” Their sibling-like chemistry has also earned them the nickname “milk siblings,” from the Woo and Yu in their names, which combine to form the word “milk” in Korean.
After a little road trip, the milk siblings finally arrived at their summer vacation home. They expressed awe at their cute home, large yard and garden, and cute puppy. As soon as they entered their home, they were greeted with a homework list. Everyday, the two are to write in a journal, exercise for at least an hour, and eat at least one healthy meal.

They began picking fruits from their garden and sat admiring their home as Choi Woo Shik commented, “I think I could stay here for a year.” Jung Yu Mi added, “I just don’t want to leave.” For the first meal of their vacation, the two made a spicy fish stew to enjoy with some sashimi.
While eating dinner, Choi Woo Shik called his friend Park Seo Joon, whom they were preparing to welcome as their first guest. The two are known to be close friends as a part of the “Wooga” friendship squad, which also includes BTS‘s V, Park Hyung Sik, and Peakboy. Park Seo Joon also appeared on Na Young Suk PD’s “Youn’s Kitchen 2” with Jung Yu Mi.
Although his voice was hoarse from filming all day, Park Seo Joon assured he was still going to visit and the milk siblings promised to prepare for him food that was good for the throat.
Since Park Seo Joon exercises diligently, Choi Woo Shik mentioned a protein diet for his friend, to which Park Seo Joon jokingly asked, “Woo Shik, did you care about me that much?” Choi Woo Shik adorably responded, “Whether I am asleep or awake, I am always thinking about you.”
The next morning, while awaiting their first guest, Jung Yu Mi and Choi Woo Shik were busy preparing scallops for dinner.
When Park Seo Joon finally arrived, Jung Yu Mi shyly prepared him his “welcome tea” with a glass of lemon balm tea and a plum. Just to throw Choi Woo Shik off, Park Seo Joon hilariously commented, “I don’t know what taste this has.”

Although visiting as a guest, Park Seo Joon cut up the watermelon he brought, making sure to help out around the house despite their calls for him to rest.
“Summer Vacation” airs on Fridays at 9:10 p.m. KST.
