Block B's Zico To Enlist In The Military This Month
Block B’s Zico will be enlisting in the military at the end of this month.
On July 21, Korean media outlet Dailian reported that Zico would be enlisting by the end of July. Following reports, Zico’s agency KOZ Entertainment confirmed, “Zico will be enlisting on July 30, and after receiving basic military training, he will serve as a public service worker.”
Zico is the fifth member of Block B to enlist in the military following Jaehyo (who was discharged in December of last year), Taeil, B-Bomb, and U-Kwon. Born in 1992, Zico is 29 years old by Korean age reckoning.
Zico made his debut as a member of Block B in 2011 through the single “Do U Wanna B?” After establishing KOZ Entertainment in 2019, Zico continued to find success through releases such as “Any Song.” On July 1, he released the album “RANDOM BOX” with the title track “Summer Hate,” and he also participated in writing the lyrics for SSAK3’s song “Summer Sea Again.” Zico is currently starring as a mentor on Mnet’s “I-LAND.”
Wishing Zico a safe service!
