Donation Made By Yoo Jae Suk Helps Provide Feminine Hygiene Products To Teens In Need

A donation made by Yoo Jae Suk earlier in the year has been used to help provide feminine hygiene products to teens in low-income families.

In April, Yoo Jae Suk made a donation of 50 million won (approximately $41,560) to G Foundation, a non-governmental organization that provides aid to those in need, both domestically and internationally.

On July 23, G Foundation revealed that they had used this donation to create hygiene kits and delivered them to 500 teens in need through 49 local children’s centers around Korea. The kits are said to include items that the teens will need for their periods, including six months worth of sanitary pads, feminine cleansers, compression packs, and pouches to hold their feminine hygiene products, as well as a letter of encouragement.

Teens who received the kits expressed their gratitude with messages like, “The price of feminine hygiene products is not cheap, so buying them has been stressful. Thank you for this,” and “Reading the letter we received made me feel like I’m precious and valued.”

Park Choong Gwan, the CEO of G Foundation, stated, “We are sincerely grateful to Yoo Jae Suk’s support as it has allowed us to provide for young teens who need assistance with feminine hygiene products. We will continue to do our best to help teens in need.”
