Lee Hi Explains Why She Decided To Join AOMG

Lee Hi has participated in a photo shoot and interview with Elle, where she talked about her new agency AOMG.

When her exclusive contract with YG came to an end, she announced her departure from the company last December. Recently, the singer joined AOMG and is currently promoting her song “HOLO.”

Concerning the reason why she chose AOMG as her new label, Lee Hi shared, “I heard many good things about AOMG from Code Kunst and Gray, and AOMG was the first company to reach out to me after my contract with YG came to an end. After that, I had meetings with several companies, but I remembered the joyful vibe I felt when I had a meal with AOMG’s CEO Kim Soo Hyuk (DJ Pumkin) and Code Kunst. I was intrigued by the affection and closeness of the AOMG artists, and I especially came to trust the label because the CEO Jay Park is also a singer. I think AOMG will be able to understand me a lot in terms of music.”

Lee Hi talked about her determination to strive for her goals, saying, “I plan to follow my choice while working hard on what I can do now. I don’t think I’ll regret it if I try before it’s too late.”
