Lee Joon Gi Captivates An Innocent Moon Chae Won With His Mysterious Aura In "Flower Of Evil"
tvN’s upcoming drama “Flower of Evil” has shared an intriguing sneak peek of the chemistry between Lee Joon Gi and Moon Chae Won!
“Flower of Evil” is a suspenseful new thriller starring Lee Joon Gi as Baek Hee Sung, a man who hides his past and pretends to love his wife Cha Ji Won (played by Moon Chae Won). As a detective, Cha Ji Won begins to suspect that her husband may be a serial killer, and the couple is ultimately forced to confront a dark truth they never wanted to face.
On July 26, the upcoming drama released new stills of Baek Hee Sung and Cha Ji Won in the early days of their romance. The photos capture an intimate—and yet strangely foreboding—moment between the two characters from when they were still in their twenties, with Baek Hee Sung tenderly taking Cha Ji Won’s face into his hand as he appears to lean in for a kiss.
Other photos show the young and innocent Cha Ji Won looking apprehensively at Baek Hee Sung with wide eyes as he gazes coldly back at her, piquing viewers’ curiosity as to how exactly their relationship began. Notably, Baek Hee Sung also sports a striking blond hairstyle and a dark air of mystery that contrast sharply with his present-day image as a warm-hearted family man.
The producers of “Flower of Evil” remarked, “With each episode, we plan to reveal a little bit more of married couple Baek Hee Sung and Cha Ji Won’s past. By looking back at how the two people ended up meeting one another, viewers will be able to gain a deeper understanding of their emotions.”
“Flower of Evil” premieres on July 29 at 10:50 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki.
