MBC every1’s original drama “Lonely Enough to Love” has shared a first glimpse of B1A4’s Gongchan as his new character!

“Lonely Enough to Love” is an upcoming romance drama about housemates in their 20s and 30s who don’t want anything serious and want to enjoy their freedom but also don’t want to be lonely. Ji Hyun Woo stars as Cha Kang Woo, a handsome psychiatrist with a peculiar personality, and Kim So Eun plays Lee Na Eun, a freelance copy editor who has said no to dating for the past four years.

On July 27, the production crew released new stills of Gongchan as Jung Hoon, a bodyguard who is in charge of VIP clients. Women fall at his feet for his extremely good looks, but he can’t be bothered with them, and he is further shrouded in mystery with a secret he has never told anyone.

Dressed in a clean black suit, Jung Hoon closely watches his surroundings. His eyes are sharp, and his facial expressions do not seem to show emotions easily. In particular, the character Jung Hoon is the complete opposite of the cheerful and free-spirited Gongchan, so viewers are looking forward to the idol-turned-actor’s new transformation.

The production crew shared, “You will be able to see the unique charm of actor Gongchan in this drama. Gongchan has made many changes to his appearance and worked hard on the action scenes for his role as a bodyguard. Please look forward to it.”
