Ji Chang Wook And Kim Ji Won In Talks To Star In New Short-Form Drama
Ji Chang Wook and Kim Ji Won may be uniting for a new drama!
On July 27, an industry representative reported that the two actors have been cast in KakaoTV’s upcoming short-form drama “Lovestruck in the City.”
In response to the report, Kim Ji Won’s agency SALT Entertainment commented, “Kim Ji Won’s potential appearance in the new drama ‘Lovestruck in the City’ is positively being discussed.”
Ji Chang Wook’s agency Glorious Entertainment responded, “He received the offer and is reviewing it.”
“Lovestruck in the City” will be directed by Park Shin Woo, the current PD (producing director) of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.” The script will be co-written by Jung Hyun Jung, who has written the “I Need Romance” series and “Discovery of Love,” along with Jung Da Yeon.
The short-form drama will have 12 episodes with each episode about 25 minutes long, and there is reportedly potential for additional seasons. It is reported to begin filming in October and premiere in November via KakaoTV.
