LOONA's Chuu Tops iTunes Charts Around The World With "Into The Ring" OST
LOONA’s Chuu is making a splash on the international iTunes charts with her very first OST song!
On July 29, Chuu released the new solo song “Spring Flower,” her contribution to the soundtrack of KBS 2TV’s romantic comedy “Into the Ring.” Not long afterwards, the track soared to the top of iTunes charts in various countries across the globe.
According to her agency BlockBerry Creative, as of 9 a.m. KST on July 31, “Spring Flower” had hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in at least 19 different countries, including Brazil, Finland, Argentina, Mexico, Chile, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Malaysia.
BlockBerry Creative commented, “As ‘Spring Flower’ marks Chuu’s first time taking on an OST, she is especially fond of the song. Perhaps because that affection was conveyed [through her singing], many people have been showing love and interest in the song, and we are grateful for it.”
“Into the Ring” is an office rom-com starring After School’s Nana as a woman who decides to run for local office after struggling to find a job and Park Sung Hoon as an uptight civil servant who always plays by the rules. Although they initially start off on the wrong foot, the unlikely duo eventually teams up to try and take down corrupt politicians together.
