Shin Sung Rok Reveals The Unusually Forward Way He Asked His Wife Out The Day They Met

Shin Sung Rok told the story of how he boldly asked out his wife on the latest episode of “Master in the House”!

On the August 3 episode of the SBS variety show, the cast members dished on their love lives while chatting with masters Park Na Rae and Jang Do Yeon.

Park Na Rae asked Shin Sung Rok if he’d ever been in unrequited love, and the actor surprised everyone by replying, “I’ve never experienced one-sided love.”

When asked how he had ended up dating his wife, Shin Sung Rok—who had previously described himself as the forward type when it came to romance—responded, “I asked her out the first day we met.” Lee Seung Gi recalled, “Sung Rok told me that he had a very strong feeling about his wife from the first day he saw her.”

“That’s right,” said Shin Sung Rok. “Because I liked her so much as soon as we met, I was really curious about her views on marriage and what kind of men she liked. So I asked her, ‘Are you thinking of getting married?'”

He then cracked everyone up by continuing with an embarrassed laugh, “And I got a bit ahead of myself with this one, but I asked her, ‘Do you like babies?'”
