Big Hit Entertainment has now announced that the opening date of BTS’s new film “Break the Silence: The Movie” in South Korea has been postponed due to the latest outbreak of COVID-19 cases.
The agency writes, “A more detailed announcement regarding the opening date will be provided before the end of September once the current situation has been stabilized.”
They continue, “For overseas premieres, the movie will open according to schedules previously announced, subject to the specific circumstances in the country or region.” The latest information is available on the movie’s website.

BTS is returning to the silver screen!
On August 7 KST, Big Hit Entertainment officially announced that BTS would be releasing their fourth film “Break the Silence: The Movie” in theaters next month, with limited screenings starting on September 10. The agency also unveiled the poster for the upcoming film.
“Break the Silence: The Movie” will feature footage from BTS’s sold-out “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself” stadium tour, as well as a behind-the-scenes look at the BTS members offstage. According to Big Hit, the group will give audiences a glimpse at the seven people behind their onstage personas by opening up about their personal thoughts and feelings in the movie.
Ahead of the new movie’s release, BTS’s third film “Bring the Soul: The Movie” will also be rereleased in theaters both within Korea and abroad from August 28 to 30.
Advance ticket sales for “Break the Silence: The Movie” will begin on August 13, though the exact date may vary from region to region.
