On August 7, it was reported that Ryu Jun Yeol will be appearing in the upcoming drama “Disqualified as a Human” (literal title). A source from his agency C-JeS Entertainment responded and stated, “It’s true that Ryu Jun Yeol is positively looking over an offer for the drama. Earlier, a source from Jeon Do Yeon’s agency Management SOOP confirmed that the actress is also considering an offer to appear in the drama. If she agrees, this will be her first drama in approximately four years since the 2016 drama “The Good Wife.”
“Disqualified as a Human” will tell the story of a 40-year-old ghostwriter who feels lost and like she has accomplished nothing and a 27-year-old man who is scared that he will achieve nothing with his life. The drama will be led by director Heo Jin Ho, who has worked on films such as “Christmas in August” and “One Fine Spring Day.”
