Wanna One Members Share Sweet Messages On Their 3rd Debut Anniversary
It’s a special day for Wanna One and Wannables!
August 7 is the third debut anniversary of the “Produce 101 Season 2” project group, who made a splash in 2017 when they debuted with “Energetic” and went on to break records and achieve success around the world. The group disbanded when their contracts ended on December 31, 2018 and they held final concerts together in January 2019.
Lai Kuanlin previously shared that Wanna One had agreed that they’ll meet up every year on August 7.
On their anniversary this year, Lai Kuanlin posted on Instagram with a photo of the group and wrote a message to his “hyungs” (a Korean term for a man’s older brothers or male friends).
“Hyungs… I’m sorry this year,” he wrote. “Let’s see each other soon.”

During a V Live broadcast on August 7, Ha Sung Woon also talked about the special day.
“Today is Wanna One’s third anniversary,” he said. “Since I like Wanna One, I want to listen to Wanna One’s song.” He then played their track “I’ll Remember” and sang along a bit.
