NCT’s Chenle has achieved his dream of getting noticed by his favorite basketball player!

For years, Chenle has talked about being a longtime fan of NBA player Stephen Curry, and he recently filmed a playful video with fellow NCT members Mark and Johnny in which he embarked on a three-step mission to reach out to the Golden State Warriors guard on Twitter. 

In the video, Mark and Johnny taught Chenle some English slang as the “first step” of his journey to getting noticed by Stephen Curry—but as it turns out, Chenle may not need any additional steps!

On August 7 KST, Stephen Curry responded to a tweet on NCT’s official account in which Chenle wrote in Korean, “Everyone, I had fun learning English from Marky and Johnny, hehehehe. I want to quickly meet Stephen Curry ‘ASAP,’ hehe. See you again soon.” Using the English he’d learned in the video, he playfully added, “I’ll BRB.”

Stephen Curry sweetly replied in English, “Once the world gets back to normal, let’s make it happen! Warriors game?”
